Getting back to a size 12

Am on the way to starting this.  Thanks to Chris I have joined a Gym today although also thanks to Chris I also had KFC (some of which was worked off from the exercise I did today) This does give me an excuse to go shopping and get some new gym stuff like trainers which are needed.  Its the Tracksuit bottoms, plain tops and bag that isnt a necessity but will make me feel so much better!!

Have now also got nicely painted finger and toe nails in the colours that I bought at the weekend with Katy.  Brown fingers, lilac toes! Very cold toes too!!! Cant wait till we move out!

To do list

Right I am struggling a little with organising the Football tournament fundraiser.  I need to get organised and get my head back into it otherwise this is never going to happen!

1.  Try and contact other venues via details that have not yet responded to me. 
2. See if we can get a price confirmation from Maria
3. Ask Ging if Virgin will sponser us

Once all this is done I will be able to start thinking about advertising and getting the teams enrolling. 

Cook book

I have made a first draft of a few recipes that I want to include.  Chris made a really nice dinner and it tasted gorgeous so I asked him if I could include it in my cook book.  I also wanna include Hana's Italian pastie.  Not sure how many recipes that I will need to include but they are definitely going in there!!

Task 87 - Get a Pen Pal

As I said last night I signed up to the website interpals hoping to get myself a pen pal.  When I got back from shopping today I found that there was a lovely lady called Sherene from Wales who has said she would like to write to me.  Hopefully will be hearing from her soon!!



Also on a separate note bought this really cool nail polish today.  Its black and you paint it over the top of another colour nail polish and then it changes so you can see the colour underneith. Am still unsure if it looks ok on but the concept is very cool!!

Am on the look out for a pen pal

Have just set myself up with a log in for Interpal its a website to help me find a pen pal to complete another one of the tasks on my list and hopefully make a friend or two in the process. Wish me luck!!!

Colouring book started!!

Went to Sainsburys with Katy to get my Colouring book and make a start on colouring every page.  I have 2 done already.


I have helped Katy set up a list and also spent the day tidying her room with her and although she say otherwise we still need to continue tomorrow. I think this definately constitutes helping someone else with there list so I have now crossed this off. 

Have also got a note book to start my draft cook book. Cant believe its going so quick now!

Catching up.

So while I was in New York I completed so many of my 101 things that I havent been able to upload the photos onto here.

I will add the photos that need to be added once I have got them from my mum and Hazel.

Another thing crossed off the list!! Am now in New York writing to you. I am also going to a Museum and a Zoo today so that will be able to be crossed off the list to :D

Cant believe how lucky I was though that dad got a Limo to pick me up from the airport and bring us all to the Hotel in TimeSquare!!!! Its so busy outside and we have a hotel looking right over the square.

Its amazing they have this random massive set of stairs to just sit on and look everything is bright lights.

TBH I havent yet realised that I am not in a dream ...... or am I???

1st One completed!!

I have completed my first task on 101 things in 1001 days!!!! Its the one that I thought would take the longest to complete. Drum roll please.......

I BEAT CHRIS AT COD!!!!!!!!

I also have a photo to prove this which will be uploaded once I am able to find Chris' Blackberry cable.  It was only by one kill but still lets not take anything away from me.

Another task started.

I have managed to start another task by completing my first book out of the 33 that I need to ready before Nov 2013.

It was the most interesting of books but it was still enough to keep me reading to the end.  Very Valentine by Adriana Trigiani was the book, if it was a book that I had got from the library I wouldnt be to put out but the fact that I paid for it was a little bit :( Not really worth it to be honest. 

Oh well at least that is 1 down 32 to go.

Choosing a Charity

One of my tasks requires me to raise a substantial amount of money for charity.  Didnt realise how hard it would be to actually pick a charity.  There are so many out there and I wish I could help all of them.

 I have decided that I want the charity to be a local one as the money will make more of a difference to them than a larger organisation.

At the moment I think that I have decided to choose the Essex Air Ambulance.

Now that I have chose the charity that I want to donate the money to I have started brain storming what I can do to raise the minimum £3,000 that I want to give to them by the time the 1001 days are up.

At the moment I have 4 ideas at the moment.  Hopefully all of them will pan out!


1. Host a bake sale - this should be easy enough (she says).  Bake some cupcakes, brownies, caramel short bread etc and then take them to work to sell. Let friends know so they can get some if they want.

2. Have another quiz night - this would be similar to the one that I held before for my mum.

3. 5' a side football tornament - this is where I am starting to struggle.  Although there are many people willing to help so I dont think it would be to much of a mountain

4. Sponsership - for running the Brentwood half marathon (not definate yet)

Any other ideas I would be more than happy to hear because I dont think that this will be enough. Also on other news does anyone know where any where that would let me use 8 5 a-side football pitches for the football tornament.

So it begins

It has taken me 3 days and a fair bit of hard work to get this blog set up and list sorted but I have finally got all 101 tasks listed and have even made a start on one of the tasks.

I will be keeping track of everything on here and making sure I upload photographical evidence (where possible) to ensure that you will all know I have completed every task.

Wish me luck and lets begin.  Otherwise its alot of money that I will need to be giving to charity.
